Webinar screen

No special equipment or software is required to participate in MoTeC webinars, and most computers with internet access will connect to the virtual classroom quickly and easily. However, to get the most out of your webinar experience we recommend the following:

Screen Resolution: 1024 x 768 at a minimum, higher if possible. The presentations will often involve software detail that can be difficult to read on small or lower resolution screens. If you find that your screen is unsuitable during the live webinar, you can access the recording and watch it on a more suitable monitor later.

Sound: Headphones are ideal, or high quality speakers in a quiet room. Try to minimise other noise in your environment, such as talking, televisions, radios etc.

Connection Test: Click here to test your connection speed and system configuration well before the webinar begins to ensure that your computer is ready to go.

Arrive early: Log in to the classroom at least 10 minutes before the start time so you can make last minute adjustments to your screen and sound without missing any of the presentation.

Browser Incompatibility: There have been some problems reported by users trying to join in webinars live with Internet Explorer. The problems are varied and we are unsure if Adobe is addressing them so, if possible, we recommend using another browser like Firefox.
