Hi all, I need some advice as I am receiving 'bad pitch errors' from a Mitsubishi 4G92 (1991-94), CAS (Crank & cam angle sensor).
I have installed a M130 on a 1992 Mitsubishi MIVEC DOHC 4G92 motor. We have retained the stock MIVEC DOHC cylinder head and also CAS sensor. The CAS is installed on the intake cam on this cylinder head as per stock configuration. I have attached a few photos for reference.
I can lock the ignition timing on the M130 at 0, 5, 10 degress and confirm with a timing light that it does reflect the crank pulley with the same results.
I can start the motor, idle and revs freely. However, I am getting continous 'bad pitch ' errors and would appreciate any advise on resolving this before I continue tuning the motor. As I understand, the Sycn signal does not seem to be where the ecu thinks it should be. I appreciate any advice on how to resolve this.
Attached is a pic for reference, input capture & configuration for the CAS, and also a datalog of the motor running at idle.
Thanks in advance!
