TurboSmart E-WG Motec M150

Postby karel021 on Wed Nov 06, 2019 9:45 pm

Hey Guys Running 2 of these new E-wg from Turbosmart what would be the best way to set them up ?

i guess Boost servo is the way to go and as they need close to 20amp a DHB will be needed.
For now i guess splitting the output lowsides to both DHB and controlling them as a pair?

will there be a future plan for a m1tune upgrade for dual boost servos?

Perhaps a BOV servo also?

Hi,

We are getting the full specifications for these units from Turbosmart, once we have this information we will validate the M1 hardware against this and make any changes that are required to ensure that they can be used with the M1 when they are released for sale to the public.

We are in discussions with Turbosmart about these units, and hopefully will have one to test shortly.

I could not get it to work. Any one could please share how to set it up properly in GPR package. Boost control page and Boost Servo page. Thank you in advance.

Ive got one on my daily driver. The valve position follows aim very well but the boost controller pid is still a learning curve. The valve has no problem going to any position in test mode but the over sized valve for my engine (45mm) has been tricky to get the boost controller pid to control boost "faster". I rely heavily on the FF table and never q functioned it due to the laziness of the pid to avoid hunting. Im a diyer but would love to see a standard setting from motec.

These might need some work, small changes make very large disturbances in pressure. But they work on my car 90%.
