Base Maps

A base map is an ECU setup file that has been produced as a relatively complete tune for a specific version of the vehicle. Some fine tuning for your specific installation may be required to get the most out of your vehicle.

How to Choose

Base Maps are intended for use with a Plug-In ECU.

M1 PWC BASE MAPS

M400 PWC BASE MAPS

The key to PWC maps will provide you with more information on choosing the right base map for your installation.

 

M400 Snowmobile BASE MAPS

Pay particular attention to the name of these snowmobile base map files. The name will indicate which is the right snowmobile base map for your installation. Once a snowmobile base map is selected, check the "Comments Section" (File>Edit Comments) within the appropriate file for relevant specific engine set-up information.

 

M400 Start Files

A start file is an ECU setup file that has been produced using an unmodified version of the vehicle. A start file has the correct configuration settings for initial start up, but all maps, for example fuel and ignition maps MUST still be tuned before use.
